On Saturday, April 16, 2016, there was a devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake which hit the Coast of Ecuador, in the state of Manabí. We share in the pain of this catastrophe which has affected our brothers and sisters of Ecuador.

The Archdiocese of Los Angeles and Missionary Childhood Association, “Children Helping Children” invites you to participate in “Aid for Ecuador”, a prayer and donation fundraiser for the humanitarian relief needed. We invite your parish to join hands for prayer for the children and families in Ecuador and to help with your financial donations.

An anonymous donor has pledged to match each dollar raised up to $100,000.  100% of the funds collected will be distributed through our MCA contact in Quito, Ecuador.
