The Society of St. Peter Apostle invites individuals to support the education of candidates for the Catholic priesthood in the developing world and to support the formation of men and women candidates for the religious life in the missions.

At St. Peter’s Regional Seminary in Bangalore, India, the 236 seminarians represent 51 Indian diocese. A fourth year theology student described the seminary as “a family for us, the Eucharist is the center of our community.”

Among the seminarians at St. Anthony’s major Seminary in Bukoba, Tanzania are two refugees from Burundi who spent years in a refugee camp. Five young women are novices in a community of local sisters in Lindi, Tanzania. They look forward to joining today’s sisters in their work in seven parishes, including teaching the faith in primary schools and caring for children in nursery schools.
