We must learn how to live together as brothers or perish together as fools.
— Martin Luther King, Jr

The Global concerns section of our web site seeks to give a brief introduction to some of the key international issues that shape and sometimes destroy the lives of people throughout the world. Each month a different issue is discussed; or when necessary, a previously mentioned issue is gone into greater depth. These issues are approached from a perspective of how do baptized Christians participate constructively in making a difference. We are inspired with the Spirit to recognize that all things are possible for those who walk with God. We challenge ourselves to be informed on the issues so that we can make real the Gospel.

Note: The Global Issues articles are meant to look at the underlying spiritual issues that both paralyze us and liberate us to act on behalf of our brothers and sisters. They are not meant to be exhaustive reflections or strategic plans of action on an issue.
