2019-2020 Christmas Artwork Contest
All children in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles are encouraged to enter our annual Missionary Childhood Association artwork contest. The Los Angeles MCA office will select twelve local winners from all entries submitted.
The artwork of the twelve local winners will be on display at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels during December 2020. The twelve local winning entries will then be submitted to the MCA National Office to be entered in the nation-wide contest where twenty-four winners will be selected to be displayed at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. during Advent and Christmas in 2020.
Entries for the 2019/20 school year are due January 31, 2020 and shall be submitted to your local Missionary Childhood Association office at the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

2018-2019 Christmas Artwork Contest
With over 300 entries from students around the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, we can finally announce the 2018-2019 MCA Christmas Artwork Contest Winners! The entries below were submitted to the MCA National Office to be entered in the nation-wide contest where 24 winners will be selected to be displayed at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. during Advent and Christmas in 2019. Elise Kim a 5th grader from Holy Family Catholic School in South Pasadena and Sia Jeong a 6th grader from Holy Trinity Catholic School in San Pedro have both been selected and are this year’s National Finalists. Congratulations to everyone who participated and to our two finalists! Please make sure to visit the chapel at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels dedicated to our Local Finalists, so you can all view their artwork.
