Brothers and Sisters in Mission,
I felt compelled to reach out to you during this time of fear and extreme difficulty regarding the pandemic taking place with the Coronavirus otherwise known as COVID-19. While all countries are assessing and reacting in taking the appropriate measures, I wanted you to be aware that the Archdiocese of Los Angeles is taking every precautional measure to lessen the risk of infection and to further stop the spread of this virus. A Coronavirus resource page with continuous updates has been established which may be found by clicking https://lacatholics.org/emergency/. Archbishop Jose Gomez along with the Archdiocese are fully monitoring the extent of this virus and are working to properly guide the faithful of Los Angeles. As daily developments continue to evolve, I ask that you continue to pray for all those affected and let us ask for God’s ever-lasting love and comfort in easing our anxieties with this pandemic. I pray for all of you in the missions and I ask that you pray for all of us here in Los Angeles as we are truly one family in faith and one family in mission.
In Christ Jesus,
Reverend Monsignor Terrance L. Fleming
