Catholic Volunteer Network CVN #1106

In existence for now 60 years, the Catholic Volunteer Network (CVN) promotes the field of faith-inspired service and missionary work and represents close to 100 different missionary and service programs throughout the world. We believe that our faith calls each of us to serve in a unique way, and we are proud to be an organization that helps people, and particularly young people, to discern what mission they are being called to.

CVN publishes RESPONSE every year, which is a well-known directory of hundreds of faith-inspired service opportunities throughout the world. This publication is used as a tool for discernment by countless campuses, parishes, and beyond, and showcases the fact that there is a way for each of us to serve no matter our gifts, talents, abilities, and geographic location. We also accompany people as they discern service, and provide formation pre-departure, while in service, and upon re-entry. These formation opportunities include retreats, learning series, and affinity groups that help to build community.
